BODH Intelligence Pvt. Ltd. (“BODH”, “we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal data when you use our website, mobile app, and related services (together, the “Services”). It is designed to align with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India) (“DPDP Act”) and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, as applicable.
1. Personal data we collect
- Identifiers: name, email, phone number (e.g., when you sign up for launch notifications or create an account).
- Usage data: app interactions, pages viewed, session information, device and browser type, approximate location (from IP), crash logs.
- Transaction data: bookings, orders, payments (processed via PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways; we do not store full card details).
- User content: reviews, preferences (e.g., preferred destinations, language), itinerary choices.
- Optional data: profile photo, delivery address, GST details (for invoicing), emergency contact for trips.
2. How we use personal data
- Provide and improve the Services (itinerary generation, bookings, festival alerts, order fulfillment).
- Communicate with you (account notices, confirmations, support, limited marketing where permitted).
- Prevent fraud, enforce terms, and ensure safety.
- Analytics and product research (aggregated or de-identified where possible).
3. Lawful bases
Under the DPDP Act, we process data based on your consent (e.g., notifications), to perform a contract (e.g., fulfilling bookings), for legitimate uses such as security and fraud prevention, and to comply with legal obligations.
4. Sharing
- Vendors: cloud hosting, analytics, customer support, payment gateways, identity verification.
- Travel/Service partners: guides, stays, transport providers and temple offices to fulfill bookings and seva.
- Legal or safety: when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and property.
- We do not sell personal data.
5. International transfers
Data may be processed in or transferred to jurisdictions outside India. We use reasonable safeguards and contracts to protect your data in line with applicable laws.
6. Data retention
We retain data for as long as needed to provide Services, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When no longer required, we delete or de-identify it.
7. Your choices & rights
- Access, correct, update your account information in-app or by contacting us.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent (e.g., marketing emails).
- Request deletion (“erasure”) of your account and associated personal data—see Delete Account.
- Opt out of non-essential cookies/analytics where offered.
8. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us to remove it.
9. Security
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect data (encryption in transit, access controls, audits). No method is 100% secure; please use strong passwords and keep credentials confidential.
